Hong Kong’s Incredibly Dense Apartment Buildings

In Architecture of Density, German photographer Michael Wolf takes the massive, busy city of Hong Kong and narrows it down to the smaller details of its high-rise apartment buildings. By eliminating the sky and cropping in on just specific sections of the buildings, Wolf transforms the repetitive rows of mesmerizing patterns and textures throughout the city into flat abstractions.

Amazing Landscapes Featuring Rows of Symmetrical Trees

Captured directly in camera, the stunning optical illusions do not involve any digital manipulation. When asked about the photographs, Delgado said, “All images are real. The artist's surreal worlds are a creative blend between dreams and reality that seem to be emerging from the minds of the women while they sleep. As imagination consumes them, each woman seems unconcerned about her predicament.
