Single Dad Creates Class to Help Teach Other Fathers How to Style Their Daughters’ Hair

Philippe Morgese is a dedicated dad who shares a special bond with his daughter Emma through the art of hairstyling. When the young girl was only a year old, Morgese became a single dad and had to learn to care for his daughter. To be the best dad possible, he wanted to make sure he knew how to style his little girl's hair. “I love the time spent with her and she loves the cool hair, so it's a win-win,” he told BuzzFeed. Morgese started out with pigtails and gradually moved on to more complex hairdos, which earned him countless compliments. He also received questions from other dads who wanted to learn more about hairstyling for their daughters.

To help out all dads with daughters, Morgese decided to create a hairstyling class. “I get a lot of credit for doing her hair and hear compliments about my role as a father because of it,” he said. “I want other dads to be able to experience that.” To accomplish this goal, the dad reached out to local beauty school International Academy and asked if he could use their space. They happily agreed and Morgese began hosting a free class for a group of loving fathers. “There was some struggling, but all the dads really put in the effort,” the dedicated dad revealed.

In the future, Morgese plans on teaching more classes. He's even created a Facebook page called Daddy Daughter Hair Factory for interested parents.
