Three Sisters Adorably Recreate the Oscars Best Picture Nominees

Mom Maggie Storino likes to play dress-up with her daughters, but only if Oscar Best Picture nominees are involved. For the past four years, Storino has been working with her girls to recreate the most iconic movies of the year, with an adorable twist courtesy of 5-year-old Sophia, 3-year-old Sadie, and 8-month-old Sloane. “Between creating sets and discussing the photos, we spend a lot of thought on each photo,” Storino told TODAY. “So when it comes time to take the actual picture everyone is excited. Even if someone isn't in the picture, they're in the background trying to get a laugh or, in the case of my husband in ‘Big Short,' keeping Sloane from eating Jenga blocks.”

The Storino family's playful series, known as Don't Call Me Oscar, includes some of this year's most buzzed about nominees: The Big Short, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, The Revenant, Room, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian, and Spotlight. Since the nominees were first announced, Storino and her girls have been working on their cinematic transformations.
