No one spreads Christmas cheer quite like Buddy the Elf. And nothing entertains the whole family quite like Monopoly. That’s why USAopoly has released an Elf-themed board game, inviting players to “relive the hilarious movie” this holiday season.
Designed for 2–6 players, each person can choose one token to represent them as they move around the board. There’s a miniature Santa’s Sleigh, a Polar Bear Cub, a Jack-in-the-Box, a Mailroom Coffee Mug, a Santa’s Bag, and Maple Syrup. The aim of the game is to buy, sell, and trade the game’s apartments and skyscrapers. Classic Monopoly Community Chest cards are renamed as “Christmas Cheer,” and Chance cards are called “Christmas Spirit.” Even the traditional railroad spaces are replaced by candy, candy canes, and syrup. The last person standing wins, but don’t forget to celebrate by “singing loud for all to hear.”
“Join Buddy the Elf in the magical land of New York City, and relive his adventures as he explores new places, finds his father, and saves Christmas with Santa,” says USAopoly. “Celebrating the classic holiday comedy, this custom edition of Monopoly will have you collecting and trading wondrous landmarks along the path of Buddy’s journey, like Santa’s Workshop, Gimbel’s Toy Department, and the Lincoln Tunnel.”
So, don’t be a “cotton-headed ninny muggins”—join in the family fun this season with Monopoly: Elf, available from the USAopoly website. The game is currently sold out on Amazon, but keep a look out for its return here.
