The model-photographer duo Victoria Yore and Terrence Drysdale are always on the move. Together, they’re known for their Follow Me Away project and recently enchanted us with their fairy tale images of Oregon. In the short time since, Yore and Drysdale packed their bags for Iceland to explore what the picturesque country had to offer. Like other Follow Me Away series, every photograph is simultaneously stunning and mystifying. The grandiose settings will take your breath away.
“All images are shot with me wearing the same dress,” Yore told us in an email. Through this glamorous—and surprisingly rugged—ensemble, she leads us through turquoise fields of ice and white-capped mountains. These particular shots are some of the most mesmerizing photos in the whole series. Drysdale has a knack for capturing light at just the right moment, and it bathes the ground in a brilliant color spectrum—from fiery oranges to tranquil cerulean.
The frigid temperatures, however, weren’t all that Yore and Drysdale saw. Demonstrating the incredible diversity of Iceland, they also ventured to grassy rolling hills and sculptural rock formations. As Yore maneuvers along an uncertain terrain, we can’t help but feel she’s a character in a book, embarking on an epic journey.
Follow Me Away recently ventured to the enchanting Iceland and captured its diverse beauty.
We can't wait to see where they go next!
