My Modern Shop Spotlight – Kevin Day’s Beautiful Dead Tree

Photographer Kevin Day felt incredibly inspired one day, when he discovered a lone, dead tree in the park. For years, the photographer returned to the spot the tree stood in to capture its alluring image against the natural landscape. Despite taking countless shots of the tree, he has managed to keep each photo beautifully unique. Day put it best, when he told us, “[T]here is this wonderful old tree unchanging over the years and yet I can take hundreds of photos of it during the seasons and very few of them look the same. It is all about the change around the constant.”

We're pleased to announce that all of the images featured in this post are now available as prints and canvases through our art store, My Modern Shop.
