An immersive experience, people are invited into a “cacophonous interior downpour,” in which they are able to walk through a mystical rainstorm without getting wet. The field of falling water around a person pauses whenever a human body is detected, responding to the users' presence and movements.

Artist Alexis Noriega of The Crooked Feather has designed a handmade pair of bird wings fit for an actual human. As a matter of fact, the artist's creation is equipped with pneumatic automation, which means that the wings can extend and retract through a sophisticated air pressure system, operated at the flick of a switch. To create the base of this impressive construction, Noriega used fabric, glue, and wire.

Floating Optical Illusions Created through Brilliantly Painted Layers of Glass

Glass painter Wilfired Grootens is an artist from the German countryside with a very unique style. Using delicate swirls and tendrils painted onto layers of laminate glass, he assembles dozens of sheets together, and then sands them down to produce vivid three-dimensional paintings that appear to float in mid-air.
