Stunning Photos of Surging Ocean Waves Frozen in Time

Australian photographer Ray Collins uses his camera to highlight the ephemeral beauty of ocean waves as they surge and break in cascades of sea foam. The photographer swims out to sea each day, hoping to capture the spontaneous moments when sun-dappled water crests into recognizable shapes like mountains and hills. Frozen in time, each suspended wave takes on the appearance of a glass sculpture shot through with luminous undertones of aqua and emerald.

Intricately Folded Pages Transform Hardcover Books into Standing Sculptures

Japanese artist Yuto Yamaguchi transforms hardcover books into sculptures by simply folding their pages. Without using scissors, he crafts the bold designs by intricately creasing each page so that together, they appear as one cohesive form. Woman Recreates Classic Works of Art Inside Delicately Cracked Eggshells

Turkish artist Sreyya Noyan expertly transforms eggs by carefully cracking a window into them, removing the egg, and painting recreations of world-renowned works of art on the inside of the shells. Using precise detail brushes, drawing pens, and an incredible amount of care, Noyan is able to utilize an egg's exterior as a fragile canvas to create her eggshell paintings.
