Artist Uses Short Strokes to Create Complete Drawings

Artist Seong Jin Kim's beautiful black and white illustrations are composed of quick, short strokes that merge together into amazing scenes. His work is a beautiful blend of thin black ink with a stark white background. Up close, Kim's style appears to be rough and incomplete. However, the broader picture proves to be an extremely complex, emotionally-charged image that conveys a powerful story of loneliness and isolation.

Cuban cartoonist Angel Boligan creates thought-provoking works that all have a touch of sadness and surrealism. There's so much going on in each scene that it's like an organized chaos slowly revealing itself to viewers over time.
