Amazing Photos of Trees Frozen in Subzero Temperatures

Snow is nothing new to wintry weather but Monza, Italy-based photographer Niccol Bonfadini captures a unique sight of the season in which trees are completely overwhelmed by snow and ice in subzero temperatures. The cloud-like shells in each image mask the trees in a frosty armor with nothing but snowy grounds surrounding them as far as the eye can see.

Mother’s Heartwarming Photos of Sons with Farm Animals

Russian photographer and mother of two boys Elena Shumilova captures heartwarming images of her sons interacting with various animals on their farm, including dogs, rabbits, cats, and ducklings. She manages to transport the viewer into a fairy tale-like world with her photos of these little guys and their furry, feathered, and fluffy companions in the beautiful, rural landscape. The presence of the two innocent, little boys makes the beautifully cinematic landscapes all the more enchanting.

Hauntingly Beautiful Clothing Frozen in Blocks of Ice

As much of the United States continues to experience an insanely cold winter, many artists are making the most of it by documenting spectacular icicles dripping from a frozen lighthouse or by transforming boiling water into a cloud of tiny ice crystals. Environmental artist Nicole Dextras regularly uses ice as her medium to create unique sculptures where various textures and fabrics are set within thick blocks.
