Artwork Incredibly Revealed When Viewed as a Negative

Malaysian artist Brian Lai takes photorealist drawing to a whole other level by creating sketches with inverted colors. Seeming like a film negative, each of Lai's illustrations are like abstract works of art until a filter is applied to invert the colors, allowing one to admire the photorealistic portrait and, thereby, appreciate the artist's creative rendition. Lai has currently produced two such illustrations, each one depicting X-Men characters (most prominently featuring Wolverine).

Stunning Land Art Reflections Complete Circles of Life

With his project collaborator Philippa Jones, photographer and artist Martin Hill travel to remote locations around the world to create environmental sculptures that represent a visual circle of life. What sets his land art apart from the rest, is that many of his works don't completely form until the water is calm and the sun hits them, creating a startling reflection in the water.

Adorably Playful Dogs Leaning Out of Car Windows

It's impossible not to smile at these ridiculously cute faces hanging out of car windows. Created by LA-based photographer Lara Jo Regan, Dogs in Cars features all kinds of canines enthusiastically leaning into the wind with tongues lapping and a cool breeze in their fur. The unique pet portraits convey the animals' general sense of happiness through enthusiastic, attentive poses and open-mouthed expressions.

Racial Comments Heard by Teenagers on a Daily Basis

Racial Microaggressions is a photo project by Fordham University student Kiyun Kim that addresses the racial comments that she and her peers succumb to on a daily basis. They may not be attacks from organized groups, shunning them for their cultural, ethnic, or religious backgrounds, but the words are tiny jabs that these youths are regularly subjected to because of stereotypical comparisons of behavior and physical attributes associated with their race.
