Innate Beauty of Majestic Wildlife Creatures

Photographer Marina Cano has fallen in love with the beauty of nature and its creatures. The wildlife photographer, who is based in Cantabria, located in the North of Spain, has devoted three years of her life to a passion project that exposes the scenic and spiritual appeal of this world's natural environments. In her book Cabrceno, titled after the largest natural wildlife park in Europe, Cano captures stunning images of animals in their natural habitat.

Gargantuan Stainless Steel Sculptures by Kevin Stone

Chilliwack, British Columbia-based Kevin Stone specializes in creating gargantuan, one-of-a-kind stainless steel sculptures. His towering bald eagle, called “Power and Authority,” stands an astounding 20 ft high and has a massive 31 ft wingspan. He also completed an 85 feet long mirror polished stainless steel sculpture, the “Imperial Water Dragon.” For almost two years, working seven days a week, he designed and created this 6,000-pound, 12-feet-high, 14-feet-wide and 35-feet-long dragon with two massive coils.

London 2012-Inspired Typographic Art

Athens, Greece-based designer Charis Tsevis just put out a new set called Chariots of Color 2012 that's inspired by the upcoming London Olympics. I love his choice of colors and how the type is placed so that it gives the illusion that there's motion in each piece. Over the years, we've featured Charis' fantastic work many times here on My Modern Met (see here and here).
