More Incredible Camouflage Art by Liu Bolin

It's safe to say that Liu Bolin is a modern-day magician. In 2007, his advanced camouflage art exploded onto the art scene as we were all left speechless, scratching our heads at how body paint could seamlessly blend a person into their background. With a team of two assistants, Bolin paints onto his clothes and then spends hours positioning himself in front of backdrops until he's virtually invisible.

Human Metamorphosis (15 pics)

Creative studio Taylor James made these unbelievably realistic images that look like they're straight out of a science fiction movie! In the first set, a beautiful brunette sheds her old body similar to that of a snake. A dramatic, internal struggle takes place in the second series, while the third features beautiful women hatching from their shells. Taylor James really pushes the technical limits of photo manipulation, turning amazingly creative ideas into a reality.

Stunning Sculptures by Odani Motohiko (3 pics)

Now on view at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo is Motohiko Odani's hauntingly beautiful sculptures. His unique style has won this artist acclaim both in Japan and abroad, and in 2003 he was selected as one of the artists to represent Japan at the Venice Biennale. “Right now I have this strong Futurist interest in how to capture the concepts of movement and transformation, dynamism and speed in sculpture,” Odani said.
