Grateful Woman Adopts Stray Dog Who Saved Her Life From an Unexpected Attack

Georgia Bradley and her new dog Pepper have rescued each other in a profoundly beautiful way. While the 25-year-old woman was visiting a beach in Greece, she found herself in an unexpectedly dangerous situation. Two men approached her and invited her to go out with them. Bradley refused and, suddenly, one of them seized her arm. That's when a heroic stray dog jumped in and barked at the strangers until they left her alone.

Incredible Alarm Clock Manipulates Magnetic Fluids to Tell the Time

Zelf Koelman of the Eindhoven University of Technology has designed an alarm clock that resembles a Rorschach test in motion. The clock–which is known as the Ferrolic–relies on the manipulation of magnetic fluids to display the time. “A few years ago I fell in love with the magical characteristics of a little black ‘blob' in a bottle,” Koelman explains. “One could manipulate the position and shape of a floating drop of Ferro Fluid with a magnet.

Rustic Stable House Is Disassembled and Transformed into Modern Holiday Home

In the wheat fields of Tuscany sits what appears to be an unassuming, historic stone building. Beyond this rustic exterior, however, is a former stable house whose interior has been completely transformed into a strikingly modern holiday home. Roy David Studio was responsible for this metamorphosis, calling the updated property Motelparo villa. In order to convert the space, the architects had to work against the constraints of strict preservation laws.
