Cutting-Edge Architects to Build Inverted Pyramid House in Spanish Countryside

Set to be built in the Spanish region of Matarraña, TNA is the latest architectural firm to take up the challenge of building a residence without restrictions for developer Christian Bourdais' Solo Houses project. Lead architects Makoto Takei and Chie Nabeshima have dreamed up an inverted concrete pyramid sunk into the Spanish landscape.

Talented tattooist and self-described “astral ruffian” Pony Reinhardt creates fanciful tattoos inspired by a range of flora and fauna. Large-scale and rendered in black ink, each nature tattoo exhibits the artist's distinctive style and fantastical approach to body art. Featuring an eclectic mix of elements found in the natural world—from earthly plants and animals to “lost and found nebulae” and astrological entities—Reinhardt's body of work depicts the diversity of her many muses.

From the outside, this 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom home may look like a standard suburban residence. However, don't let its white stucco façade fool you—its interior is a blast from the past. Presented by Mark Z Properties and located in Waterford, Michigan, this perfectly preserved time capsule house is stuck in the year it was built: 1996. Upon entering the waterfront home, guests are greeted by a teal and pink living room featuring wall-to-wall carpeting, black accent pieces, and no shortage of bold patterns.

Photographer Captures Expressive Portraits of Strangers Before and After Kissing Them

With a “constant fascination for new people,” New York-based, Norwegian photographer Johanna Siring often features strangers as the subjects of her work. In a recent series, Siring has taken her love of meeting new people to another level by capturing portraits of total strangers before and after kissing them. Aptly called Kiss of a Stranger, the project features pairs of portraits taken at Denmark's Roskilde Festival.
