Climbing Sculptures Represent Achieving Your Dreams

Ready for an amazing art installation about achieving your dreams? Bill Starke created “Our Journey,” eight life-size human figures that are climbing the walls of Amway Center in Orlando, home to the NBA basketball team Orlando Magic.

As Orlando Sentinel states: “The narrative of the artworks is a positive story about people at work to realize a dream, about individual and team achievement, and about the dreams of children in Parramore, the challenges they see before them, and the goals they have set for themselves.”

Artist Starke describes his body of work this way. “Human beings interacting, colliding, cooperating, striving and achieving are the themes I portray in my sculpture. My observations and interpretations of the human condition are meant to be both humorous and thought provoking.
