New Beautifully Dream-Like Photos by Katharina Jung

When we first introduced the work of 20-year-old German photographer Katharina Jung, she was in the midst of a year-long project where she produced an image each week during 2014. Luckily for us, the year has come and gone, and we're pleased to share some of the other fantastic photos that she created.

Jung has the incredible ability to craft pictures that are simultaneously imaginative, dramatic, and beautiful. Her photos often feature young people alone and surrounded by natural splendor. Women and men lay among babbling brooks, run along the tree-lined shore, and take in the sweeping sights of foggy fields. The ethereal works are, in Jung's words, trying “to convert my daydreams into images.” You can't help but feel a dream-like magic when you see them.
