Mickey’s Epic Adventure

If you thought photos of “little people” were silly and just for play, then you haven't seen the work of Vincent Boussereuz. Back in February 2009, we wrote about his incredibly creative and well-crafted scenes filled with mysterious miniature people. It was one of our most visited posts ever, as first-time visitors to My Modern Met came in droves to see and appreciate his outstanding work.

Daily Mail just wrote an article about how Boussereuz's collection of 80 photographs have now exhibited in three shows in Paris and received rave reviews in the art world. “The quirky pictures are on sale from 2000 (around $3K) and have generated global interest, with hundreds of websites as far as Asia showcasing his work. Vincent added: ‘They have made me quite famous.'”

The Paris-based photographer recently turned his lens on the most recognized mouse in the world, capturing Mickey in some iconic London locations. Why? Commissioned by Disney Interactive Studios, it was to celebrate and promote the new video game, Disney's Epic Mickey.

What a fun and well-executed series!
