SlideRider Turns Boring Indoor Stairs into an Awesome Slide

Now this is a fun idea we can get behind! Trisha Cleveland of Minnesota has invented the SlideRider, a foldable mat that turns your indoors stairs into a fun slide! To make it safe for kids, the product is designed with bumpers so they can’t slide out. After thinking about how kids use mattresses and sleeping bags to transform their stairs into slides, Trisha thought, why not give this activity an upgrade?

Best part is that the bright red and blue slide folds right up into its base and is held in place with an easy storage strap. With the tagline, “The Inside Slide,” why wouldn’t this be flying off of shelves? In fact, can they make these for adults?

Trisha is currently working with website Quirky to make this project a reality. You can learn more about this product, here.
