Spectacular Photos of Chicago’s Skyscrapers Piercing Layers of Fog and Clouds

For the past six years, Chicago-based photographer Peter Tsai has been on a quest to document the Windy City's famous skyline from above the clouds. His project, titled Cloud Chicago, paints a magical portrait of the metropolis blanketed in dense fog. Iconic skyscrapers like the Willis Tower (more commonly known as Sears Tower) and Chase Tower pierce through a sea of low clouds and mist, making for a spectacularly surreal sight.

New Ocean-Inspired, Hand-Cut, Layered Glass Sculptures by Ben Young

Sydney-based artist Ben Young is back with his latest collection of hand-cut, layered glass sculptures inspired by the ocean. Like his previous pieces, his new sculptures illustrate the beauty of the sea through translucent waves crafted in combination with rocky grottos, palm trees, drifting boats, waterside homes, and tiny figures on the shore.

Deformed "Mutant" Daisies Photographed near Fukushima Spark New Radiation Worries

Snapshots of deformed daisies growing in Nasushiobara City are going viral online, causing many people to speculate that the mutated flowers are a result of radiation from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant located about 108 miles northeast. Beginning on March 11, 2011, an unknown quantity of radiation leaked from the power plant after it was damaged by a deadly earthquake and tsunami.

Little Girl and Her Dog Pose Identically for Fun Lookalike Portraits

A year ago, photographer Jesse Holland‘s parents gave her baby daughter a hat as a present. On a whim, the Victoria, British Columbia-based mom photographed her daughter and her dog wearing the same hat, and a new photo series was born. Putting a new spin on the “who wore it better?” concept, Holland regularly captures portraits of her 2-year-old toddler and her 5-year-old Boston Terrier on their adventures together.
