Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." Showdown Between Fox and Marmot Wins Prestigious Wildlife Photography Contest

A Tibetan fox rushes forward—teeth exposed—while the marmot it's after screams out in surprise, undoubtedly knowing that its days are numbered. The standoff between these two animals, high in the alpine meadows of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, has won photographer Yongqing Bao the title of Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Developed and produced annually by the Natural History Museum, London, the 2019 contest saw over 48,000 entries from 100 countries across 19 categories.

Photographer Uses LEDs on Drones to “Draw” Light Paths on the World’s Largest Salt Flats

Photographer Reuben Wu is known for his artistic landscape imagery, which he creates by using LED lights attached to a drone. By taking long-exposure photographs, Wu is able to have complete control over how we perceive light within the environment. His newest work even incorporates light painting for an even more surreal effect.
