Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." World’s First Robot and AI Museum Opens in Seoul

The world's first Robot & AI Museum (RAIM) opened in South Korea. Located in Seoul, the futuristic building was designed by Melike Altınışık Architects and takes on a spherical, non-directional form intended to “reflect the fluidity and dynamism of the AI and robotics fields.” Stretching nearly 80,000 square feet, the expansive museum is a celebration of science, technology, and innovation.

Researchers Use 134-Year-Old Photo To Create 3D Model of Ancient Sculptural Relief

Researchers from Japan's Ritsumeikan University have found a way to bring hidden pieces of history to life using cutting-edge technology. Led by Professor Satoshi Tanaka, they developed a method to take any 2D photograph of a relief and transform it into a digital 3D reconstruction. In October, they demonstrated their method at an international conference in Australia and published their work.

Photographer Unites Strangers Across America for Intimate Portraits [Interview]

Seventeen years ago, photographer Richard Renaldi took a gamble. What would it look like if he brought two strangers spontaneously together and asked to take their portrait? And not just any portrait at that. These portraits were intimate, intended to unite two worlds, if even for an instant. To answer this question, Renaldi crisscrossed the United States and, starting in 2007, began asking people to pose for a series he would call Touching Strangers.
