Sara Barnes is a Staff Editor at My Modern Met, Manager of My Modern Met Store, and co-host of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. As an illustrator and writer living in Seattle, she chronicles illustration, embroidery, and beyond through her blog Brown Paper Bag and Instagram @brwnpaperbag. She wrote a book about embroidery artist Sarah K. Benning titled "Embroidered Life" that was published by Chronicle Books in 2019. Sara is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art. She earned her BFA in Illustration in 2008 and MFA in Illustration Practice in 2013.

Stunning Wood Facade Appears as Rippling Waves on an Office Building

Damiani-Holz & KO is company that works in the timber construction field, so it seems only fitting that their headquarters would reflect it. Italian studio MoDus Architects did just that by wrapping the Bressanone-located building in a stunning wood surface treatment. It features a system of vertical plywood fins that cover the structure and create a unique-looking facade.

Photographer Captures the Reactions of Subjects While He is Nude

Trevor Christensen's series titled Nude Portraits might sound provocative, but in actuality there aren't any naked people featured in it. The Utah-based photographer is the one who's nude, and the images he captures are of his subjects' reactions to his clothingless body. It's not a trick or a surprise to them, and Christensen speaks to each person beforehand and explains what's about to go on.

Man Hilariously Inserts Himself into Pop Culture Photo Calendar Thanks to a Lost Bet

As football season approaches, it's becoming time for a fan-favorite activity – fantasy football. Maybe you're playing it just for fun, but for Henry Stern and his friends, getting last in their league means a punishment.
