"Star Wars" Characters Reimagined with Adorably Matching Cats

Disney animators Griz and Norm Lemay used their latest series of illustrations to combine two of their favorite things: Star Wars and cats. While this may seem like a highly unusual combination, the artists masterfully managed to pick out the perfect feline companion for each of their Star Wars characters. Rey has a Bengal cat perched atop her shoulder, both looking ready to embrace life on a desert planet.

Artist Transforms Parents’ Home into "Hansel and Gretel" Gingerbread Cottage

Artist Christine McConnell isn't the type of person who's going to let a house go undecorated during the holiday season. That's why she's once again given her parents' residence a makeover–with a eerily festive twist. Rather than using store-bought lights and your typical Christmas-themed decorations, McConnell aimed to turn an ordinary home into the witch's cottage from Hansel and Gretel.

2,500 People Wear Excerpts from Entire "Alice in Wonderland" Text for the World’s Longest Tattoo Chain

What does it take to make the world's longest tattoo chain? According to book-loving company Litographs, such a project requires 2,500 people and a plethora of temporary tattoos featuring phrases from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. To launch their collection of temporary literary tattoos, Litographs produced a Kickstarter asking backers to pledge $1 or more for a temporary tattoo.

Artists Give New Life to Children’s Monster Drawings to Encourage a Creative Path

The Monster Project aims to help young kids realize the power of imagination. Without rules or restrictions, elementary school students are asked to draw a monster. As they allow their imaginations to flourish, these children are encouraged to draw anything that comes to mind. The finished drawings are then sent to artists all across the globe so they can recreate them as 3D illustrations, animations, and paintings.
