Mesmerizing Street Art of Glistening Eyes

Over the last few years, artist Eoin has emerged onto the street art scene creating some mesmerizing paintings of huge, glistening eyes. He loves finding decayed, forgotten areas to paint his fantastic works. Originally a fine artist, he decided to make the leap from indoors to outdoors because canvas, as a material, was getting too expensive and he felt that the medium was too restrictive.

Feel Like a Spider in This New Steel Wire Web

His largest and most ambitious work to date, In Orbit by Argentinian artist Tomas Saraceno is the closest one may ever come to feeling like a spider. Working with a team of architects, engineers and biologists over a three year period, Saraceno is finally ready to debut this monumental mesh construction that suspends over 25 meters above the piazza of the K21 Standehaus museum in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Blood Preserved in Plexiglass Embodies Life and Death

New York-based artist Jordan Eagles works with an unconventional and controversial material to create his crimson artworks–blood. About 15 years ago, the artist was discussing the connection between body and spirit with a friend which led him to ultimately embark on an artistic journey using blood he acquires from animal slaughterhouses. For Eagles, his work is a preservation and display of life and death.
