Gold Dinosaur Skeletons Adorn Louis Vuitton Display

The many store window displays in New York City often serve as both an incredible art exhibit as well as product advertisement. In this display by Louis Vuitton, fashionistas and history buffs alike will enjoy the trendy spectacle of gold dinosaur bones paired with the iconic new Pre-Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection.

Inspired by the display at the Natural History Museum in Paris's Les Jardins des Plantes, the French fashion house recently revealed this display as part of their 5th Avenue Maison storefront. The fashionable exhibit features seven gold dinosaur skeletons paired with mannequins that showcase the upcoming season's new clothing and handbags.

The window includes the Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops and Velociraptor holding handbags, and encourages not only fashion trends but also briefly introduces the average shopper to some natural history lessons. Once the glimmering reptiles draw the customers in, museum-style signage provides details about each luxury product.
