Traveling Artist Creatively Documents His Adventures in Visually Exciting Sketchbooks

By drawing in sketchbooks, artists can collect their ideas and record their creative process. For José Naranja, his archive of Moleskine notebooks also serve another purpose. Since 2005, the Spanish artist has been documenting his travels with eclectic entries of hand-written notes, watercolor drawings, and additional ephemera that he picks up at each destination. These small journals offer an intimate view of Naranja's journeys around the world.

UK’s Largest Clean Air Mural Is Completed After 3 Weeks

French street artist Nerone has created the UK's largest clean-air mural in Southampton. Painted on The Bulb, a new hub for the STEM community, the piece shows a woman covered in colorful flowers. And best of all, the nearly 11,000-square-foot mural is not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly. To create his masterpiece, Nerone used Graphenstone CO2-absorbing paint.

World’s Largest Spherical Building Debuted Spectacular Light Show for the Fourth of July

Two months ahead of its official debut, the world's largest spherical building, the Sphere, put on a spectacular Fourth of July show. Its incredible 580,000-square-foot wraparound LED screen—called the Exosphere—transformed into an array of colorful displays that lit up the night. From the American flag to fireworks to a lifelike Moon, these dazzling animations illuminated the Las Vegas skyline.
