Street Artist with Quirky Sense of Humor Paints Over Graffiti to Make Words More Legible

Artist Mathieu Tremblin recently took to the streets of Rennes, France with a bit of an odd mission: to make the graffiti scribbles a little more legible. His educational background in graffiti culture and fine arts, along with his past work with site specific urban interventions and branding, provided Tremblin with the perfect springboard to this quirky and humorous project.

Audiovisual Tricycles Project Playful Animations on Adjacent Streets and Buildings

Artist duo Ygor Marotta and Ceci Soloaga of VJ Suave have made public artwork that's mobile, interactive, and constantly changing. Titled Suaveciclos, the two creatives have fashioned tricycles as mobile, audiovisual projectors, adapted with an actual projector, computer, speakers, and batteries. They travel on these vehicles and cast playful animations onto the darkened surrounding landscape, with no place off limits–walls, trees, lakes, sidewalks, and sand are all fair game.

Artist Paints Stunning Murals of Women in Water All While On a Paddle Board

While creating a realistic-style portrait is impressive in its own right, Sean Yoro takes this practice a step further. He paints hyperrealistic murals of women all while floating on water! The New York City-based artist, who goes by Hula, produces these gorgeous works from his paddle board. He's seen bobbing along the current, one hand steadying himself as he adds fine details and decorative tattoos to the ladies' skin.
