Striking Berlin Library Boasts Expansive White Interior

Located at the Freie Universitat in Berlin, Philologische Bibliothek is an expansive library designed by architect Norman Foster. While its size and collection seems to be straight out of a bibliophile's dream, it's the visually striking interior design of the architecture that immediately captivates the senses. The eye-catching interior displays a bright wash of white throughout the space, further adorned with a spectacular burst of lines, leading the eyes in all directions.

Beautiful 3D Printed Bookmark of a Dove

Netherlands-based design firm Studio Macura just emailed us to tell us about a product they just launched that's as beautiful as it is useful. Pero is a functional and decorative 3D printed bookmark in the form of a dove. Poetically perched, the bird has long strings that hold in place where in the book you last left off.

LEGO’s Beautifully Detailed Parisian Restaurant

Just unveiled at BrickCon in Seattle is this beautiful new set in LEGO's modular building series, 10243 Parisian Restaurant. Released in January 2014, the highly detailed model includes 2,469 pieces that make up much more than what you see on the outside. In this three story building, you'll find some neat rooms inside!

Modern Pyramid House by Juan Carlos Ramos

We've seen our fair share of unique modern home designs like the box-shaped metallic house or the abstract fortress made of concrete, but Mexican architect Juan Carlos Ramos has taken on a form less-visited for his aptly titled project Pyramid House–a conceptual pyramid-shaped home created and submitted as a proposal for a recent architecture competition. The simple geometric shape creates a clean aesthetic, while remaining extremely eye-catching due to its iconic though rarely applied form.
