Winners of the 2022 Audubon Photography Awards Celebrate the Beauty of Our Feathered Friends

Now in its 13th year, the Audubon Photography Awards are a celebration of bird photography. Arranged by the National Audubon Society, an organization whose mission is to protect birds and their environment, the contest had 2,500 entries from across the United States and Canada. This year's grand prize went to Jack Zhi for his image of two raptors in flight. The photo, taken in California, shows a white-tailed kite hovering in mid-air.

Incredible Winners of the 2022 All About Photo Awards

Photojournalist Marcus Yam was named the All About Photo Photographer of the Year 2022 for his look at Afghanistan's air force. Yam, who is a roving Los Angeles Times foreign correspondent, is one of 41 photographers from 21 countries that were awarded for their talent in the All About Photo Awards‘ seventh year. He will not only take home $10,000, but will also have his work featured in a special edition of AAP Magazine.

Apple Announces 10 Best Macro Images Shot on an iPhone

A strawberry floating in a fizzy soda, the cavernous interior of a flower, and colorful sea glass are just some of the subjects covered by the winners of Apple's latest iPhone contest. After putting out a call for photographs, Apple received an overwhelming response to their Shot on iPhone Macro Challenge. An international panel of experts pored over the entries and selected the 10 best images for special recognition.
