As a person who loves to be on top of pop culture, I'm super excited about Entertainment Weekly's iPad app. What's so special about it? Well, first Entertainment Weekly decided to only reproduce one part of its print experience, the weekly Must List. The Must List is the 10 things EW loves each week which includes recommended movies, music, TV, books and games. You're given the options to sample content with previews or song snippets. You can even stream HD movie trailers from Apple. Now here's the coolest part. Not only do you get to sample the goods without leaving the app, it comes integrated with iTunes, Amazon and Fandango so you can buy the recommended content. Smart business idea on Entertainment Weekly's behalf because they get a share of revenue generated through iTunes sales. Cool for the consumer because it makes browsing and shopping easy. The app is updated every Friday with 10 new picks. Can't wait to check this out on my new iPad (which I should be getting this week)! Via AdAge
