Clever Jeep Ad Campaign Filled with Surprising Illustrations

Creative agency Leo Burnett France had to put an incredible amount of forethought into each one of these illustrations for the new Jeep ad campaign: See whatever you want to see. Each right-side up design features a single animal set against a textured background. However, turn the image upside-down and a second creature reveals itself in the lines, curves, and shadows of the original shape.

Bits of Scrap Metal Welded Together Into Powerful Sculptures

Bronze sculptor John Lopez builds large and powerful beasts completely out of metal. From buffalo to cowboys on horseback, Lopez welds layer by layer of iron together to form life-sized creations filled with interesting details and texture. His welded art style of sculpture was born through experimentation and a lack of necessary supplies.

Adorably Awkward Cards by Emily McDowell

I have a confession. I have been obsessed with Emily McDowell's illustrations ever since I laid eyes on them. This woman has the most hilarious sense of humor I have found on the Internet in a very long, long time. The illustrator, designer and self-professed “truth-teller” only really busted out into the art scene in January 2013, when she created a funny Valentine's Day card (seen above)
