Artist Fills Massive Inflatable Dome with Tremendous 360 Landscape Drawings

Oscar Oiwa‘s newest immersive display spans the entire interior of a massive vinyl inflatable dome. The Brazilian-born Japanese artist is globally recognized for his large-scale installations and this piece, Oiwa Island 2, is an impressive addition to his expansive portfolio. With a quaint seaside cottage painted in, and life-like depictions of the skyline and forest that make up the Setouchi landscape in Japan, the artwork unfolds into a stunning 360 degree panoramic vision.

Ingenious Lamps Allow Plants to Grow Indoors without Direct Sunlight or Water

Designers Emilia Lucht and Arne Sebrantke (of Studio We Love Eames) developed a lamp that allows plant lovers to grow greenery anywhere. By using LED lights in place of direct sunlight, the Myrdal Plantlamp is able to create its own self-sustaining ecosystem. This allows the product to mimic the process of photosynthesis, so no water or care is required on our end.

Geometric Sleeve Tattoos Visually Crystalize Across the Body

Brandon Crone combines multiple tattoo styles to produce cohesive, stunning pieces of body art. Fusing dotwork, blackwork, and geometry, he adorns clients' arms and chests with designs that flow from intricate angular structures to large areas of solid black. In addition, the non-inked areas of skin create secondary patterns found within the negative space of the tattoos.
