Vibrant Watercolor Paintings Celebrate the Small Details Found in Nature

Artist Marisa Redondo (aka River Luna) pays homage to the beauty of nature in her vibrant watercolor paintings. Filling the canvases with bursts of color and ornate patterning, her works are inspired by what she sees around her Northern California home. It wasn't until moving there that Redondo really got to experience the charm of the outdoors, as she grew up in a city and wasn't surrounded by vast, open space.

Photographer Documents Chemically Polluted Landscapes and Soaks Film in the Same Toxins

Brandon Seidler draws attention to the damage humans have done to the environment by photographing natural landscapes that have been altered by chemical pollution and then soaking the film in the same harsh chemicals that were found at the site. The developed film, which has been corroded by different acids, yields distorted, uncanny images of a world transformed by manmade toxins.

Whimsical Bronze Sculptures Turn Airport into Interactive Playground

Among the installations is a series of playful bronze sculptures by Tom Otterness, a New York-based artist known for his cheerful figures that pop up in unexpected public spaces.
