Extraordinary Teenagers Build an Eco-Friendly Mobile Village for the Homeless

Nickelsville is a nomadic shanty town where the homeless sleep under rickety tarps and tents, struggle with basic sanitation, and have trouble affording necessary electricity. Not long ago, a group of empathetic Seattle teens worked on solving this complex problem by teaming up with Sawhorse Revolution, an innovative non-profit that works toward fostering confident, community-oriented youth through the craft of carpentry.

Tattoorary is a Netherlands based company that sells these handmade works of art that will last for up to a week. While their Etsy shop is filled with animal tattoos – swallows, fox, and even a steampunk octopus – it's their floral designs that have us swooning.

Christoph Niemann incorporates everyday items into clever sketches that offer a dizzying sense of depth and whimsical perspective. The New York native can take an avocado and make it look like a catcher's mitt; he can transform a comb into a fancy Rolls Royce; he can even turn a poppy-seed bagel into unshaved whiskers. Based on where he places the objects within the pictures, Niemann can create an impressive sense of motion or depth.

Artist Collects 50,000 Keys Across the Globe for An Immersive Exhibition on Memories

Within the 2015 Venice Art Biennale's Japan Pavilion, artist Chiharu Shiota has amazed visitors with an extraordinarily immersive presentation. Using two boats, vibrant red yarn, a net of interlaced metal, and more than 50,000 unique used keys, Shiota created “The Key in the Hand,” an exhibition meant to inspire viewers to think about the importance of memories and the unknown.
