Snugly Sleeping Bag Looks Like a Life-Sized Bear

Japanese artist Eiko Ishizawa believes that every product has the potential to be both fun and functional–even when it comes to your average sleeping bag. In 2006, the artist heard that a bear had escaped from the Italian side of the Alps and made its way over to the Bavarian side. This creature was referred to as a problem bear and he started a huge debate.

1,700-Year-Old Roman Mosaic Discovered During City Sewer Construction Project

News of the discovery of a massive 1,700 year-old Roman mosaic was recently released to the public and press. The extensive and detailed mural is thought to have served as the living room floor in a villa of a luxurious and affluent neighbourhood during the Roman and Byzantine periods. Initially, a Northern section of the complex was uncovered in the 90's within ruins of the Israeli central city of Lod.

Artists Give New Life to Children’s Monster Drawings to Encourage a Creative Path

The Monster Project aims to help young kids realize the power of imagination. Without rules or restrictions, elementary school students are asked to draw a monster. As they allow their imaginations to flourish, these children are encouraged to draw anything that comes to mind. The finished drawings are then sent to artists all across the globe so they can recreate them as 3D illustrations, animations, and paintings.
