Olafur Eliasson Transforms a Museum Space into a Natural Rugged Terrain

In his first solo exhibition Riverbed, Olafur Eliasson assembled a landscape of stone and soil that conceals the normally tiled floor of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark, to emulate a natural rugged terrain.  Viewers are given the opportunity to become immersed in the authenticity of the art installation, and thoughtfully ponder the contrasting dissimilarities of the exhibit and the outside world.

Stylist Spends Every Sunday Giving Haircuts to the Homeless

Every Sunday, hair stylist Mark Bustos ventures through New York City in search of his next client. Although he works at an upscale salon, he's actually looking for someone less fortunate who'd appreciate a haircut. He approaches these people and opens with the same simple phrase: “I want to do something nice for you today.” Bustos began cutting hair for the homeless in May 2012 after a visit to family members in the Philippines.

Under the lights and in front of a crowd of hundreds, if not thousands of fans, musicians can really rock. The Vans Warped Tour is a traveling festival that features a line up of bands who tour for as long as three months and perform day after day. Sounds exhausting, right? Performance photographer Brandon Andersen shows us just how much these artists exert themselves in his collection of images taken before and after the concert.
