Incredible Sculptures Made of Bicycle Parts

Chicago-based bicycle parts company SRAM gives artists the opportunity to show how creative they can be by equipping them with a box of 100 bike components and challenging them to make something for their pART PROJECT competition. This year, over 80 artists have participated, contributing their inventive creations that range from figurative sculptures to abstract collages.

Documenting the Mathematical Scribbles of Geniuses

CERN Since 2010, Spanish artist Alejandro Guijarro has been traveling to several Quantum Mechanics institutions across the globe. He photographs their blackboards that are filled with the mathematical scribblings of some of the greatest minds in the world. The photographer walks into each facility's lecture halls and proceeds to snap shots of the blackboards without modifying the board or interfering with the original arrangement of the space.
