Singing Ceramic Vases

Poland-based Diploo Studio just reached out to us to share their fun ceramic works. Personally, I'd love to grab a set of their handmade vases, called Singing Brownies, for my desk. Imagine being greeted every day by a bunch of these hilarious leaf or flower headed friends. Of course, this begs the question – what song would they be singing?

Giant Bird’s Nest for Hatching New Ideas

O*GE has made this giant bird's nest as an interesting interactive space for people to be creative. The prototype is “a morph of furniture and playground” bringing fun into the work process. The human-sized nest is a little over 14 feet in diameter and is filled with giant pillows. This big version can fit up to 16 people at once as the pillows can be arranged for multiple setups.

Eye-Catching Clothesline Installations

Finnish artist Kaarina Kaikkonen creates site-specific installations by recycling secondhand clothing. The artist suspends the garments like a line of laundry hanging out to dry. Who would have thought that clotheslines would make such intriguing and eye-catching art? In an interview with Liverpool Daily Post, Kaikkonen reveals her personal connection to each of these clothing-based art projects that are, in their simplest forms, artistic coping exercises.
