Photographer Captures Delightfully Candid Photos of Wild Squirrels Being Very Curious

Photographer Geert Weggen has a gift for getting the most out of his portrait subjects. And he’s definitely got his work cut out for him, since his subjects of choise aren’t humans—they’re red squirrels. Animals always come with a unique set of photographic challenges, but Weggen makes it look easy with effortless images of the creatures interacting with tiny props including balloons, shopping carts, and even a makeshift bow and arrow.

No Two of these Computer-Generated Geode Puzzles Are Alike

Recently, many designers have created products inspired by the distinctive beauty of geodes. Much like the mineral itself, each dazzling creation is unique, from a handcrafted cake to handmade ceramics. Design studio Nervous System has taken this trend to another level, culminating in computer-generated geode puzzles that are truly one-of-a-kind. Each puzzle contains about 180 birch plywood pieces that together form the colorful, concentric bands of an agate.
