Illustrator Sam Milham, aka idrawcartoons, transforms four beloved characters from the Mario Bros. video game franchise into a gang of irony-loving hipsters. The 22-year-old's renderings of Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Bowser are spot-on re-imaginings of the cast. Milham humorously captures a side of them that includes everything from suspenders, scarves, and smokes to mustaches, thick-rimmed glasses, and an SLR (presumably non-digital).
The artist is currently taking requests for more characters to re-invent through his Tumblr. Hopefully, Hipster Princess Peach won't be too far behind this set. Perhaps she'll even have her own typewriter and ironically eat an organic peach.
