The beauty of the night sky never ceases to amaze us, and now that same twinkling wonder is translated into a stylish scarf. Fashion brand Shenova produced it in collaboration with tech expert Katie Linendoll, and together they invite us to “cozy up with space.” Called the Illumiscarf LED Constellation Scarf, it features a string of bright lights that mimic the dazzling cosmos.
The Illumiscarf is adorned with constellations that cover it in an all-over print, capturing the intricacies of these celestial arrangements. It’s made from super-soft fleece that’s double layered and measures nearly two feet long. (This makes it perfect for layering.) The LEDs are embedded in a zipper closure and removable if you don’t feel like lighting up a room.
This hi-tech scarf is available for preorder via Etsy, with an expected shipping date of January 2017. In addition to the Illumiscarf, Shenova also makes STEM-inspired dresses, leggings, and more. That way, you can be science-inspired from head to toe!
