LA-based Tim Tadder knows how to capture a lively and active moment in just one click of the shutter. The artist, best known for his award-winning campaign work for popular brands, created this project entitled Water Wigs as what Tadder describes as “a further exploration into water weirdness.”
Using bald men as the focus of each scene, Tadder and his team threw water balloons at the subjects' heads and captured the results in these funny photographs that are full of energy. The guys' expressions are hilarious considering they have water balloons pegging them in the head while the photograph is being taken. The final products have such great animation and use of vibrant colors across the series. As each explosion occurs, new forms of water-based hair appear. Tadder says, “We used a laser and sound trigger to capture the right moments for each subject to create just the head of hair that fit best with the face.”
