Ukrainian artist Viktoria Solidarnyh uses Photoshop to create scenes that simultaneously appear remarkably realistic and straight from a storybook. In her series of enchanting edits, Solidarnyh digitally combines multiple photos into single composite images, showcasing her undeniable skill and avid imagination.
At first glance, much of Solidarnyh's portfolio looks like it's made up of straightforward photographs. However, once the compositions are visually broken down, the effort that has actually gone into meticulously crafting each one becomes evident. While her picture-perfect portrait of a jewel-covered princess may look authentic, it's actually composed of 11 separate photographs, including shots of glistening treasures, elegant fabrics, and a lingerie model mid-pose.
Similarly, her pastoral portrayal of a little girl boldly interacting with a bear took 6 individual images, while her surreal shot of a larger-than-life turtle with a towering castle on its back required over 20! With their vast backdrops and minute details, Solidarnyh's fabricated scenes offer us a glimpse into her makeshift and make-believe worlds.
Solidarnyh may cite digital editing as only a hobby, but she clearly has taken the art of photo manipulation to the next level. You can keep up with her work and see her captivating creations on her DeviantArt page.
