Artist Paints on Plates That Blend into the Surrounding Landscapes

Artist Jacqueline Poirier (aka The Crazy Plate Lady) uses her imagination to travel the world with an unconventional canvas. Utilizing stark white, ceramic dinner plates, the artist paints incredibly detailed, realistic landscapes upon them. For the most part, Poirier will design scenes that match actual landscapes she has before her, which results in a highly impressive photograph.

Artist Transforms Her Eyelids into Paintings Inspired by Movies, Musicals, and Books

Makeup artist Tal Peleg designs detailed paintings on an unusual canvas: her upper eyelid. Using this part of her face–along with her eyebrows, lashes, waterline, and the surrounding area–Peleg recreates scenes from iconic movies, musicals, and books. For her depiction of Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree, Peleg transformed her eyebrow into a tree that's blossoming with vibrant green leaves.

A baby goat named Marcia faced obstacles from the beginning–she was born blind. In addition to her lack of sight, the young creature's mom rejected her and her twin sister passed away. Fortunately, Marcia ended up at Farm Sanctuary, an animal rescue organization whose staff gave her all the love and comfort she was missing in her life.
