Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." Elegant Pop-Up Installation Merges Flowers and Industrial Aesthetics

For one day only, flowers became art in a Williamsburg townhouse thanks to Crosby Studios and Flover. The Paris and New York City-based Crosby Studios, run by Henry Nuriev, is known for its industrial aesthetic. By partnering with Flover, a floral design studio, it created Flower Room. This installation fuses nature with minimalism to create a fascinating result.

Dolce & Gabbana Takes Over Rome With Three Over-the-Top Events Celebrating Handcrafted Fashion

Iconic Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana transformed Rome into their runway with a series of three events last week, celebrating Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria. The Roman Forum, Castel Sant’Angelo, and Hadrian’s Villa in Tivoli were home to over-the-top spectacles that honored traditional Italian craftsmanship and creativity.

Cute Bioluminescent Marsupial Is a Standout Finalist of Tasmania’s Science Photography Prize

Tasmania’s Beaker Street Festival, a weeklong celebration of science and art, has announced the 12 finalists of its photography contest. The Beaker Street Science Photography Prize is yet another demonstration of the artistry of the scientific photography community. From rare bioluminescent animals to the colorful Aurora Australis, all of the shortlisted images are prizeworthy.
