Bees Create Heart-Shaped Hive, Prove They’re Nature’s Best Architects

If you ever needed evidence that bees were artists, take a look at this incredible photograph posted by Brian Fanner (of Luna Design Company). The South African designer decided to gift his wife with a heart made of honeycomb, so he called on the help of some Cape honey bees. He took a board and added a quick slotted design of a heart and a couple of swirls to help guide them.

Pianist Comforts Blind Elephants in Thailand by Playing Classical Music for Them

When concert pianist Paul Barton moved from Britain to Thailand, little could he have expected where life would take him. Instead of playing for your typical classical music lovers, Barton's fans are a bit more unorthodox. Since 2011, he's been dragging his piano to a wildlife sanctuary for old and injured elephants. He spends his time playing everything from Bach to Beethoven for these gentle giants, many of which are blind.

Meet the Furrowed-Brow Feline People Are Calling the New Grumpy Cat

Last spring, the world mourned the loss of the permanently furrowed-brow feline known as Grumpy Cat. Although no one can replace Grumpy Cat—whose real name was Tardar Sauce—it appears that there is a new “angry” kitty capturing the hearts of the internet. Named Meow Meow, the fluffy feline lives in Taiwan and has strikingly similar coloring to the dearly departed Tardar Sauce with blue eyes to match.
