Immersive LED Displays Transform a Korean Resort Into a Shimmering Crystal Palace

In 1851, London hosted the Great Exhibition in what would become one of the world’s finest examples of modern architecture: the Crystal Palace. Complete with dramatic arches and a shimmering, transparent facade, the palace was absolutely gargantuan. It integrated 293,000 panes of glass, a 128-foot-high ceiling, and housed more than 14,000 exhibitors from around the world.

Luxury Resort on Dubai’s Coast Inspired by the Elegance of Superyachts

Inspired by the elegance of superyachts, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab has opened on the Dubai coastline. The hotel, created by architect Shaun Killa of Killa Design, is situated between the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which are shaped like a sail and a wave, respectively. Completing Jumeirah's trilogy of nautical hotels, Marsa Al Arab's fluid architecture creates the illusion of movement.
