Man Plays Song by The Lumineers on a Public Piano, Then a Band Member Joined Him

Sam Spencer wasn’t expecting much when he sat down at a sidewalk piano in Boston and began playing the song “Ophelia” by The Lumineers. But as he was tapping away at the keys, two people stopped to listen. One of them even began recording his performance. It didn’t end there. The other guy then stood next to Spencer at the bench and started playing along.

Watch John Lennon’s Son Sing ‘Imagine’ For First Time Ever in Support for Ukraine

Julian Lennon, the son of the late John Lennon, once vowed to never perform his father’s iconic song “Imagine,” but the war in Ukraine caused him to reconsider. A singer himself, the younger Lennon sang an impassioned cover of the anti-war anthem as part of Global Citizen’s social media rally, Stand Up For Ukraine. The cause is working to raise money for the country during the Russian invasion.

If you look quickly at Charles Brooks‘ photographs, you might think that he's an adventurer documenting abandoned buildings. But upon closer observation, one notes something a bit different about these cavernous spaces and tunnels. They aren't, in fact, buildings but the interiors of classical musical instruments that Brooks photographs for his project Architecture in Music.
