HP’s Touch Screen Printer: One Printer to Rule Them All

If you've been wondering why your printer isn't keeping up with the times, worry no more. HP just announced that they'll be introducing the HP Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web in September which is believed to be the world's first Web-connected printer with a touch screen. Coolest part? The control panel lets users connect to the Web and use custom apps from services like Fandango, Google, Coupons Inc and Snapfish. You'll be able to print your movie tickets, Google maps, calendars, contact lists, to-do lists, coupons and pictures all without ever having to boot up your computer and browse through the web. It comes with a large 4.33-inch LCD touch screen so you can see it all right from this printer. The TouchSmart Web service will be entirely free with no service fees but the printer itself is set to retail at $400. Does the printer finally get some love? Will it become the household hub?
